Sweden will play for 5th place

In the placement game between Sweden and Japan finished with the result 34:28.

The first half Jerry Hallback’s team started with a slight advantage over the opponents and despite of Japanese player’s fight they won the half-time with the result 17:10. In the second half Sweden continued playing aggressive,fast and technical game and finished the game with their favor with 6 points difference. Adam Yuki Baig was named as the best player from Tsutomu Tokoro’s team as he scored 4 goals for his team and goalkeeper Mans Landgren was the most valuable from Sweden.

“Sweden is a very strong team and it’s really hard to win against them” – Tsutomu Tokoro, Japanese head coach.

“It was a nice game for us, we are very happy we won and we’ll fight for 5th place. We played very well in defense and scored many goals” – Jerry Hallback, Swedish head coach.

Jerry Hallback’s team will play for 5th place and Japan will play for 7th place tomorrow.
