The placement match for 13-14th positions between Egypt and Slovenia was tense as any other game at play-off stage. Before the break Egypt was the team who mainly led the game but at 26th minute Slovenians made a breakthrough and won the first half 18:15.
Despite the fact that in the second half Egypt kept fighting bravely, Slovenians retained leadership and won 35:30.
Domen Novak (RW) was named the best player of Slovenia and Omar Sami Ahmed Ali Dahr (RW) was named the best among the North Africans.
Thus, Slovenia occupied 13th and Egypt 14th places in the final table.
