In the quarterfinal game Denmark vs Russia of the men’s youth world championship at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia, Danes took lead from the beginning and didn’t lose an advantage in the first half – 21:15.
After the break an advantage of Denmark even increased. Russians who defeat Korea one day before had no chance this time. The game ended 37:28.
Top scorers, Russian Nikita Kamenev (RB) and Emil M. Jakobsen of Danemark, 8 and 9 goals respectively, were named the best players of the match.
In semifinal Denmark will meat France on August 19.
