Bahrain and Argentina met each other in placement game for 21-22 positions of the men’s youth world championship in Tbilisi, Georgia. The game was tense and balanced. Bahrain managed to achieve two goal advantage in last two minutes before the break. The first half ended 14:12.
After the break the game remained as tense as in the first half but at the 27th minute things changed as it suited the South Americans. Bahrain was not lucky at last minute of the match when top scorer (11 goals) and the best player Ahmed Fadul (RW) missed the important penalty. Albiceleste won 25:24.
The best player of Argentina was Mateo Palacios (LW) – 7 goals.
ALI ALI (official of Bahrain team): Today we played badly. The positive side is that many young players gained experience.
MARTIN ARAKAI (Right Wing of Argentina): It was a very difficult game. We played against Bahrain twiсe before and they beat us but today we won. We were very good defensively but lost many balls in attack.
