Brazil and Serbia played for President’s cup, which is the tournament for those teams who clinched fifth places at the group stage. In the beginning the Serbs came forward but Brazil was the team who progressed during the tournament and never gave up. At 20th minute the score was 10:10 and the final result of the first half was 13:13.
After the break the game became even more intense. Both teams came forward and tied the score in turn. The final minutes were dramatic as well and eventually Serbs won 27:26.
The best player of Serbian team was a goalkeeper Todor Jandric and the best among the South Americans was Pedro Sousa Pacheco (CB).
