Denmark beat Norway

Fellow Scandinavians, Denmark and Norway met each other in another A group game. Denmark won over the opponents with the result 33:20.

The first half began with equal advantage of the teams, but in the middle of half-time Danish players took a lead and finished first 20 minutes with the result 14:11. In the second half Claus hansen’s team pushed forward and with stable, technical and confident game defeated Norwegians with 13 points difference. The best player from Denmark was Emil Jakobsen who scored 8 goals and Sander Loevlie Simonsen was the most impressive from his team as he scored 5 goals.

“I think, we played very well, the second half was very nervous, the match was really difficult, but our team is very strong and we were able to win” – Claus Hansen, Danish head coach.

“For us the second half was very bad, but I’m almost satisfied with first half, Our players had energy in the first half, but we lost power in the second half” – Jonny Jensen, Norwegian coach.

Denmark have 5 points and are on the second place and Norway owns 2 points and 4th place in A group. Hansen’s team will face France at 14:00 and Norway will meet Egypt at 16:00.
