Japan won, Chile still lose

At the Men’s Youth World Championship, In another B group game between Japan and Chile finished with the result 35:27 in favor of Japan.

The first half started with the little advantage of Japanese players, which won half time with only 2 points difference 17:15. In the second half, despite of South Americans fighting skills. Tsutomu Tokoro’s team kept initiative until the end of the match. The best player was Rennosuke Tokuda from winners, he scored 8 goals and as the most valuable was named Francisco Avendano Vargas from Claudio Lira’s team. He scored 4 goals.

” Positive side was that we had nothing to lose,we challenged a lot, they have two very strong wing players and that was one reason we had problems during the match” – Tsutomu Tokoro, Japanese head coach.
” Japan is the good team. we have some problems in the defense, in the first half we played well, especially in attack. In the second half the the speed of the game was slow, difference was only 8 balls and it’s not big difference- Claudio Lira, Chilean head coach.

Chile owns 0 points and the last place in B group, Japanese team have 4 points and is on the 4th place in this moment. South Americans will meet hosting country Georgia and Tokoro’s team will play against Algeria on August 14.
