Georgia’s another lose at the Men’s youth World Championship. Hosting country met Germany and lost the game with the result 25:41.
Germans started the game confidently and won the first half 21:8. In the second half Beka Orjonikidze’s team began more aggressively and acitvely and tried to reduce the difference, but German’s seemd to be stable and defeated the opponents with 16 points difference. Khazein Rustamov was the best from Georgia and Max Staar was the most valuable from Jochen Beppler’s team.
“Today we played against Germany,which is one of the favorite of this tournament.
Of course, we aren’t satisfied, but we are preparing for the game against Chile, I hope, we’ll win and spectators will be happy” – Beka Orjonikidze, Georgian head coach. “It was difficult to start the match ,because playing against Georgians was hard, but after 10 minutes our defense got better. In the second half we played very good in attack, as well in defense. Georgia was able to get more score” – Jochen Beppler, German head coach.
Georgia owns 2 points and 5th place and Germany have 8 points and is on the first place. Georgians have chance to go to playoff if they win against Chile. Orjonikidze’s team will face Chile and Germany will meet Iceland on august 14.
