In group C Poland won their second game in a row against a South American team. At the first matchday, the East Europeans beat Argentina and then Brazil, with four goal difference. Pols who didn’t qualify at the World Cup and play in Tbilisi only because Venezuela refused to participate, now have 4 points and lead the group with Korea, who has 4 points as well.
The result of the first half was 16:8. Brazilians tried to change things in the beginning of the second time, making run 5:1 in 7 minutes, but Poles stayed calm and won 29:25.
Best players were Patryk Mauer of Poland and goalkeeper Lucas Pereira Dos Santos of Brazil.

DARIUS TOMASZEWSKI (Head coach of Poland): We are very happy. Players were nervous and we made many mistakes. Brazil is a hard team to beat. We are glad that we managed to win the second game. Our goalkeeper played well, we were good in defense but we made many mistakes in attack.
