Number 1 favourite France defeated opponent Norway 34:28 in A group match, at the Men’s Youth World championship, at Tbilisi Olympic Palace.
French players started the game with confidence and won the half- time 19:14. In the second half, Eric Quintin’s team kept their strength and leadership of the match. The best player from the France was Kylilan Villeminot with 10 goals scored and Sindre Heldal was the most impressive from Norway as he scored 8 goals for his team.
“We were sure that it would be the difficult game. Norway is the Scandinavian team and plays with 100%. So we knew it would be hard, but the beginning of the match was good and we continued to lead. It was the good game considering of the quality of our opponent.” – Eric Quintin, French head coach.
