Iceland overcome Japan

The First half of Group B match between Iceland and Japan was mostly equal with slight advantage of Icelanders – 14:12. 
After the break Japan changed the game. In five minutes the score was 15:15. Then Iceland scored and Japan equalized three time in row. There was a period when Japan was winning 20:18, but with the help of the best player Teitur Orn Einarsson, who scored 10 goals, Iceland managed to win the game 26:24. The best player of the Japanese team was the goalkeeper, Hikaru Nakamura.
BJARNI FRITZSON (Head Coach of Iceland): I would rate the game as stressful. We were very nervous, but the result is exactly what we wanted. 
TSUTOMU TOKORO (Head Coach of Japan): My team played very well, but still the game was very difficult.
