France beat Bahrain

Group A game of reigning champion France and Bahrain opened IHF men’s youth championship in Tbilisi, Georgia. At the first stages of the game Bahrain managed to oppose one of the favorites of the tournament, but France still won the first half – 20:13.
In the second half superiority of Les Bleus grew and they defeated Bahrain with a 22 point difference – 42:20
ERIC QUINTIN (Head Coach of France): It was just like we expected but not like we wanted. We expected the game to be hard, because it’s always difficult to start a Championship. It’s a lot of pressure and we wanted to be good. Our team is truly high level, but we still need some time.
ALI EBRAHIM (Head Coach of Bahrain): I think, today we were not in the mood. The team was not ready for this game. I don’t know what the problem is, but another match is on the way.
