Croatia and Portugal played draw

Tbilisi Olympic Palace hosted the first matches of the Men’s Youth World Championship. In the C group, Croatia played against Portugal, the game finished with the result 30:30.
Portuguese team started the game actively and won the first half with the result 16:14. Luka Panza’s team changed the match situation from the beginning of the second half and won the second half with the same result Ricardo Santos’s team. Tomislav Spruk, who scored 7 goals, was the best player of the match from the Croatian team and Jenilson Monteiro, who score the same amount of the goals, was the best from his team. 
“It was difficult game for us, we had many individual mistakes and I hope we’ll try our best in the future games” – Luka Panza, Croatian Head Coach.
“We had strong, and experienced opponents, so I thionk, we played well, especially in the defence. I hope, we have more potential than we’ve shown it in this game” – Ricardo Sandros, Portuguese Head Coach. 
Portugal will play against Argentina and Croatia will meet Korea on August 10.
